The bride, 24, and groom, 31, followed the tradition of registering for gifts, according to E!, creating a wish list at Crate & Barrel and Macy's.

The wedding celebration took place at Arlington Hall, a historic mansion on the grounds of Dallas' Lee Park. Crawford recently told Dallas Cowboys blog Blue Star, "You dream about this as a little girl...You don't dream, though, that Badgley Mischka is going to do your bridesmaids' dresses, and you don't dream that people are going to give you the support that they have. So we're just really thankful...Getting married is an exciting, sacred thing."

When 39-year-old, Laura Vikmanis abandoned her husband. She felt sad, upset and frustrated. Her husband left her for a younger woman.

One time she came to, he can not dissolve in grief, she needs to get up and do something fun to fill his days. Understandably, the two daughters are teenagers.

The idea came from sister Laura. When they are both middle of watching a football game, Bengals Cincinnati. Her sister threw a proposal to Laura, why do not you become Cheerleader (cheerleaders) only.

SAN FRANCISCO - A few days ago Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer confirmed that it will launch the next generation Windows platform that is temporarily referred to as Windows 8 in 2012. But this is directly contradicted by the official Microsoft itself.

"There seems to be a false statement. Currently we are excited to welcome the latest generation of Windows 7 which will come in the next fiscal year," wrote Microsoft as reported by ZDNet, Sunday (05/29/2011).

"As for now, we have not issued a formal announcement related to the name and time of arrival of the latest generation Windows OS," he added.

In fact, in a statement, Ballmer also uses the name 'Windows 8 ' related to the operating system. "You will hear a lot about Windows 8, whether it is tablet, PC or other variations,"says Ballmer.

Previously also, Microsoft is reportedly preparing to bring the tablet version of the Windows operating system next week, in an event that has been prepared.

Unfortunately, Microsoft is reluctant to comment on such rumors. Especially after other newspapers said, the OS for the tablet will be holding a microprocessor Tegra.

Google in Finland have a unique new way to cool at the same time environmentally friendly Centernya data. The giant search engine that will utilize sea water.

Hamina data center is being built is not going to use a chiller in the cooling system. Instead, water from the Baltic Sea was deliberately flushed to keep the servers stay cool.

Reported by Digital Trends and quoted on Sunday (29/05/2011), Google paid USD 52 million to the Summa paper mill which has a land area of 410 hectares. And this, Google's new data center was built.

In the footage showing how the data center Hamina, it appears that the data center is to collect cold water through a pipe diameter of 2 meters. The water flows through a channel that previously have been built by paper mills and water pumps use 20-year-old.

Water will run through the four systems and meet for a 'hot swap'. Water is a heat exchanger will cool the separate flow and leading to the data center.

"We minimize the impact on the environment in this region," said Google's senior director of data centers that handle construction, Joe Kava.

Reportedly, the overall construction of these structures cost up to USD 260 million, this has included the purchase of land. But Google's rate is very reasonable price considering the long term, the company can cut costs for cooling significantly.

In addition to utilizing sea water, data center Hamina also reportedly going to use wind power from the Wind Park is located not far from the data center.

Holiday weekend should get people back in shape for the move next week. But after the holiday, some people even experience 'jetlag' namely lackluster so sleepy and less productive on Monday.

Usually people experience jet lag after traveling by plane to a certain area with very different time zone. Jetlag on Mondays only term to describe someone who is sleepy at inappropriate times.

Sleep disorders expert from Edinburgh Sleep Centre, Dr Chris Idzikowski said one of the triggers 'jetlag' on Monday is too much sleep on the weekends. As a result, the biological clock or body clock to slow down and take time to adjust.

"It's kind of a mild form of Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD). Biological clock is slowed down if it had worked hard all week, then suddenly slept on the weekends," said Dr Idzikowski as quoted by the Guardian, Monday (30/05/2011).

SAD itself is a mood disorder that often appear in some people every change of seasons, especially winter and summer. Appropriate season, SAD is characterized by symptoms of depression often called Summer Winter Blues or Blues.

Same as SAD, symptoms of sleepiness on Monday also be caused by changes in biological clock. If the SAD difference in the length of the trigger is the sun shining, sleepy on Monday more driven by changes in one's activity follows the pattern of sleep.

On weekends, most people choose to get up day than usual and even went to bed after activities such as bathing and light breakfast. More and more time devoted to sleep, body rhythms adjust more difficult when I had to go back to routine.

On the other hand, lack of rest over the holiday can also trigger a sense of tired when I had to back the move. This condition will worsen the stress that has accumulated over the previous week, and cause intolerable drowsiness.

Whatever the trigger, employees who are always in need of adaptation at the beginning of the week is considered very disturbing productivity. A manpower consultancy firm in the UK, Office Angels record losses due to falling asleep on Monday could reach Rp 1.6 trillion each year.

Some people do have a biological clock that is flexible, so seldom sleepy or have trouble with adaptation at the beginning of the week. But for those who are always problematic, in the following ways this can be done to reduce its impact.

1. Get used to repay the job
If it is difficult to overcome drowsiness every week, doing what can be done before the holiday weekend. To some extent this will reduce the burden on the beginning of the week so no problem if a little sleepy, because his rhythm became more lax.

2. Departing early on Monday
In a hurry at the beginning of the week will only increase the level of stress, especially if you have to get stuck traffic jams. By arriving early, the rhythm can be more loose and avoid congestion.

3. Ensure adequate rest at weekend
Enough rest is nothing less and not excessive. As much as possible not to alter sleep patterns, for example by not waking up too late and sleeping too late on weekends.

4. Be positive in the beginning of the week
Stress on Mondays often will take place throughout the week, because it is prevented by always thinking positive. Enjoy the work and do whatever it takes to not complain at all, because complaining will only increase the stress which in turn make more sleepy.

5. Short break
If the sleep was unbearable, rest to avoid mistakes or carelessness. Doing light activities such as going to the toilet or chat briefly with co-workers can reduce stress and drowsiness.

It’s not defeat that hurts most. The jealousy of victory causes more pain. Longing for what could have been is more poignant than loss.

Seeing the joy that you so craved, seeing their players dancing where United players could have done.

You lose games, it happens, but rarely after a loss do you see such an outpouring of joy from the opposition like at the end of a European Cup Final. What would we have been doing in the aftermath? What would I be singing now?

Yes it irritates when we get messages from supporters of our neighbours in blue and our foes from up the East Lancs Road but it all seems a bit of a blur. A blur lost in the clarity of knowing you’re not now waving a flag and screaming ‘obla di obla da Man United, European Champions’. They would be mistaken for thinking their quips and remarks were anything more than an irrelevant footnote.

I wasn’t there last night, my error for opting out of the Carling Cup games for the first time. It makes it slightly easier. In Rome to see their supporters in the flesh at close quarters was cutting. I didn’t want to massacre them en masse, I was simply incredibly jealous. Standing in the stadium and feeling the waves of joy coming straight across the pitch from their end was difficult. The long walk back into town was needed and then to rest on the Spanish Steps whilst watching their fans dance and sing and do all the things I so longed to do was the worst part. It’s the nice comments and gestures which are the worst, the Catalan equivalent of ‘chin up’.

A no doubt delicious slice of pizza tasted like razor edged cardboard and was swapped for a tepid can of continental beer to be ‘enjoyed’ whilst watching the festivities continue. To this day I don’t know why we sat there watching them for so long.

Oh it hurts but its only football isn’t it. On our way back to Manchester from Rome we found out at Schiphol Airport that my husband’s grandmother had passed away. We found out she was gravely ill after the game and had changed our flights to get back early, but obviously not early enough. On enquiring where we were in hospital she was told we’d followed United to Rome and remarked ‘oh that bloody football team’. The whole family supports United but at the end of the day it’s not life and death regardless of what Bill Shankly said and the level-headed amongst Liverpool supporters would agree.

So before we let our emotions run away and start a blame game. Before we look for fault where perhaps there is none. And before we turn on each other’s opinions like rabid wild-dogs, let’s realise that we were simply beaten by a better team.

Every supporter questioning tactics now would have been doing the same had we packed the midfield and still lost. Yes, we could have played better. Yes things may have been different but does anyone think a change here and there would have handed us victory?

We notice mistakes our own players make more, we analyse them. Imports from far or near seem clean in comparison without the baggage of ‘that bad performance’ or ‘that game they cost us’ or a poor run of form. When as a supporter we want a player bought these things are not concerns, their weaknesses at another club either unknown, ignored, or excused.

The incumbents struggle to compete with such observations. Absence makes the heart grow fonder even before the romance has begun. Yet there are some players who usually escape this handicap, our first football loves. Getting too metaphorical? Well it just shows how we mere human beings are always subject to the irrationality of emotions, in football as in life.

We lost. Let’s deal with it. If you can be there to cheer the boys through the streets of Manchester tomorrow then make sure you are. They’ve just won our nineteenth league title so let’s show them just how proud they make us.

Sir Paul McCartney took lead vocals on Steve Martin's track Best Love, telling Steve he has a 'terrible' voice.

Music icon Paul teamed up with Steve for the song, which appears on the latter's latest album Rare Bird Alert.

As much as Paul appreciated the track, which is about marriage, he didn't think too much of actor/musician Steve's vocals and decided he should take lead.

"Paul arrived [at the session] and said, 'You know, when you said you were a terrible singer, I thought you were being humble, but you weren't,'" laughed Steve in an interview with guardian.co.uk.

Steve enjoys singing, although his true talent lies in playing the banjo and piano. He is also a famously gifted comic, achieving success in stand-up and appearing in hits such as The Pink Panther movies. The star always tries to bring a little humour when he performs, although insists music is at the heart of every concert.

"I've never advertised that it's comedy," he added. "I'm sneaking in a bit more because I never want people to be disappointed. And I don't feel that they do. They leave in a really good mood, and informed, in some way."

Summer is just around the corner and that means vacation time beckons. Most American families load up the SUV (and sometimes even strap the pets to the roof of the car) and head out to see America, and by ‘see America’ we mean parents pointing out fascinating landmarks to their overfed mindless meatsack children in the backseat who instead stare at an overhead DVD screen showing a Pixar film that they have watched, like, a million times already, while shoving fistfuls of Chicken McNuggets into their slackjawed gaping maws while wondering if the next Hampton Inn has a swimming pool where they can stand chest-deep in the water while air bubbles slowly escape the fleshly folds of their lardaceous bodies.

Then dinner at Golden Corral.

But if you’re the Palin family you make a big show of taking the family on a well-publicized bus tour of Real America:

In a move designed to propel her closer to a presidential run, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin will set out on a bus tour of the country on Sunday, making stops at symbolic sites along the way.

“Starting this weekend, Sarah Palin will embark on a ‘One Nation’ tour of historical sites that were key to the formation, survival, and growth of the United States of America,” SarahPAC treasurer Tim Crawford said in a statement to RealClearPolitics. “The tour will originate in Washington, D.C. It will proceed north up the east coast.”

[...]

Members of Palin’s immediate family are expected to join her on the trip, which will eventually take her through key early-voting states.

This way Sarah can escape her Wasilla hellmouth before moving into her newer hellmouthier drug lord compound in Arizona, spend some minimal time with kids (Branchwater, Chigger Mae, Cordite, and Fetch) and get SarahPac (home of fleeced money from rubes and serial masturbators) to pay for the whole shebang.

Further information on the tour will be made available on the recently redesigned SarahPAC.com, rather than Palin’s Facebook page, which she has used in the past to make key statements and announcements.

Using SarahPAC’s web site to spread the word about the trip carries the benefit of directing Palin’s supporters to a difficult-to-miss form where they can donate to her Political Action Committee.

No word on whether the recently refurbished Bristol Palin will be along for the ride but we can assume that, should she bring her latest boyfriend with her, Todd will greet him with a “You know which part of the bus you can sit in” before crushing an empty MGD can against his forehead in a show of snowbilly warmth and graciousness.

Lockheed Martin, one of the world's largest defense contractors, was hit hard by hackers this week who used falsified SecurID electronic tokens to gain access. The breach threatens the security of vital data on present and future military technology.

Which, you know, sucks for us and our allies abroad who depend on Lockheed to help keep us safe during the ongoing violence in places like Iraq and Afghanistan.

It isn't clear what, if anything, was stolen during the breach. It isn't even clear what the hackers want, but the attacks are being traced back to an hacking campaign back in March on the RSA Security arm of the EMC Corporation, an information storage firm. That one attack compromised the security of anyone using the RSA technology—which means most Fortune 500 companies, other military contractors, and even the Pentagon. Most of these companies have since taken action to address the security issues inherent here, but as Rick Moy, president of NSS Labs, told Reuters, "Given the military targets, and that millions of compromised keys are in circulation, this is not over."

Lockheed remains confident that their broader security systems already in place will have served to prevent or at least soften the blow from this breach. RSA, however, is at a crossroads. The fallout from this will likely result in newer, more secure, but more expensive technologies being relied upon in the future to prevent this from happening again.

The RSA breach did raise concerns about any security tokens that had been compromised, and EMC now faced tough questions about whether "they can repair that product line or whether they need to ditch it and start over again," he said.

Does that mean Lockheed will be investing in biometric scanners in the very-near future? Time will tell, as more details on just how serious this matter was are still on the way. [MSNBC Image via Columbia]

The musician and poet Gil Scott-Heron – best known for his pioneering rap The Revolution Will Not Be Televised – has died at the age of 62, having fallen ill after a European trip.

Jamie Byng, his UK publisher, announced the news via Twitter: “Just heard the very sad news that my dear friend and one of the most inspiring people I’ve ever met, the great Gil Scott-Heron, died today.”

Scott-Heron’s spoken word recordings helped shape the emerging hip-hop culture. Generations of rappers cite his work as an influence.

He was known as the Godfather of Rap but disapproved of the title, preferring to describe what he did as “bluesology” – a fusion of poetry, soul, blues and jazz, all shot through with a piercing social conscience and strong political messages, tackling issues such as apartheid and nuclear arms.

“If there was any individual initiative that I was responsible for it might have been that there was music in certain poems of mine, with complete progression and repeating ‘hooks’, which made them more like songs than just recitations with percussion,” Scott-Heron wrote in the introduction to his 1990 Now and Then collection of poems.

He was best known for The Revolution Will Not Be Televised, the critically acclaimed recording from his first album Small Talk at 125th and Lenox, and for his collaborations with jazz/funk pianist and flautist Brian Jackson.

In The Revolution Will Not Be Televised, first recorded in 1970, he issued a fierce critique of the role of race in the mass media and advertising age. “The revolution will not be right back after a message about a white tornado, white lightning or white people,” he sang.

He performed at the No Nukes concerts, held in 1979 at Madison Square Garden. The concerts were organised by a group called Musicians United for Safe Energy and protested against the use of nuclear energy following the meltdown at Three Mile Island. The group included singer-songwriters such as Jackson Browne, Graham Nash and Bonnie Raitt.

Scott-Heron’s song We Almost Lost Detroit, written about a previous accident at a nuclear power plant, is sampled on rapper Kanye West’s single The People. Scott-Heron’s 2010 album, I’m New Here, was his first new studio release in 16 years and was hailed by critics. The album’s first song, On Coming From a Broken Home, is an ode to his maternal grandmother, Lillie, who raised him in Jackson, Tennessee, until her death when he was 13. He moved to New York after that.

Scott-Heron was HIV positive and battled drug addiction through most of his career. He spent a year and a half in prison for possession. In a 2009 interview he said that his jail term had forced him to confront the reality of his situation.

“When you wake up every day and you’re in the joint, not only do you have a problem but you have a problem with admitting you have a problem.” Yet in spite of some “unhappy moments” in the past few years he still felt the need to challenge rights abuses and “the things that you pay for with your taxes”.

“If the right of free speech is truly what it’s supposed to be, then anything you say is all right.”

Scott-Heron’s friend Doris Nolan said the musician had died at St Luke’s hospital on Friday afternoon. “We’re all sort of shattered,” she told the Associated Press.

She kind of had to, didn't she? It's great that Joss Stone is coming back for The Tudors' fourth season, but considering her character outlived Henry himself and remained associated with him, she kind of needed to, didn't she?

I guess they could have changed history some more and simply gotten rid of her, but I like that she's coming back. Stone has a sexy side that plays well in the world of The Tudors. And considering that she's playing the "homely" wife, that's a testament to her skills.

But then again, Jonathan Rhys Meyers has sexy-ed up Henry VIII quite a bit himself. I always pictured someone more like the late Dom DeLuise in the role. Regardless, The Tudors has been tremendously entertaining so far, if you can handle the changes. I'm glad that it'll be able to keep this important role intact through its final season.

Internal continuity is important in this kind of thing. We wouldn't want Jessica Simpson suddenly showing up next season. "Hey y'all, I'm Anne of Cleves ... or is it cleaves? Get it, 'cause my jugs are huge? ... Y'all got a car I can wash around here?"

There are all kinds of emergencies out there that we can prepare for. Take a zombie apocalypse for example. That’s right, I said z-o-m-b-i-e a-p-o-c-a-l-y-p-s-e. You may laugh now, but when it happens you’ll be happy you read this, and hey, maybe you’ll even learn a thing or two about how to prepare for a real emergency.
A Brief History of Zombies

We’ve all seen at least one movie about flesh-eating zombies taking over (my personal favorite is Resident Evil), but where do zombies come from and why do they love eating brains so much? The word zombie comes from Haitian and New Orleans voodoo origins. Although its meaning has changed slightly over the years, it refers to a human corpse mysteriously reanimated to serve the undead. Through ancient voodoo and folk-lore traditions, shows like the Walking Dead were born.

In movies, shows, and literature, zombies are often depicted as being created by an infectious virus, which is passed on via bites and contact with bodily fluids. Harvard psychiatrist Steven Schoolman wrote a (fictional) medical paper on the zombies presented in Night of the Living Dead and refers to the condition as Ataxic Neurodegenerative Satiety Deficiency Syndrome caused by an infectious agent. The Zombie Survival Guide identifies the cause of zombies as a virus called solanum. Other zombie origins shown in films include radiation from a destroyedNASA Venus probe (as in Night of the Living Dead), as well as mutations of existing conditions such as prions, mad-cow disease, measles and rabies.

The rise of zombies in pop culture has given credence to the idea that a zombie apocalypse could happen. In such a scenario zombies would take over entire countries, roaming city streets eating anything living that got in their way. The proliferation of this idea has led many people to wonder “How do I prepare for a zombie apocalypse?”

Well, we’re here to answer that question for you, and hopefully share a few tips about preparing for real emergencies too!

Today can only be described as “Bloody Sunday” following the deaths of 21 people, and over 200 injured by Israeli forces. 10 people are reported dead in Lebanon, 8 in Syria, 2 in Gaza, and 1 in the occupied West Bank.

Tens of thousands of Palestinians marked the Nakba anniversary by marching to the borders with Israel in Palestine, Syria and Lebanon. They were demanding their right of return to the homes and lands they were force to flee in 1948.

In Gaza, thousands of people marched to the Erez border crossing where they were met by a barage of bullets and shells fired from tanks. A 17 year old was killed, and 60 were injured. Most of those injured were children, with wounds to their legs. Another man was killed later in the eastern area of Gaza. Currently, F16′s, Apache Helicopters and unmaned drones are roaming the skies above the besieged area.

In Lebanon, thousands marched to Maroun el Rass, the border with Israel. Demonstrators were fired upon by Israeli troops leaving 10 dead and 70 injured, according to local reports. Thousands protested for hours before dispersing peacefully.

In Syria, Palestinian refugees and Syrians crossed into the occupied Golan Heights, and like in Lebaonon and Gaza, they too met a hail of bullets. Local reports say 8 people have been killed and 50 injured. The Syrian Foreign Ministry called Israels actions “criminal activity”, and called on the interntional community to hold Israel responsible for the killing.

In the occupied West Bank, demonstrators faced rubber bullets, live fire, and deadly tear gas as they commerated the Nakba. Unconfirmed reports say 1 man has been killed, and close to 100 people injured. Clashes lasted for hours as demonstrators continued to come under attack from Israeli troops.

Across the world, thousands of people have also been remembering the Nakba. In New York, Norman Finkelstein joined thousands of demonstrators, and in Cairo, thousands have been protesting outside the Egyptian embassy. In London, Dublin, Paris, Madrid, Belfast, Amman, Ankara, Istanbul, Gothenburg and many other cities worldwide, thousands have come out to show their support for the Palestinians right to return to their homes and land.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said “We are determined to defend our borders and our sovereignty”.

A spokesman for Hamas in the Gaza Strip, Sami Abu Zuhri, called Sundays murders “a turning point in the Israeli-Arab conflict that proved the Palestinian people and Arabs were committed to ending Israeli occupation.”

Hezbollah condemned the “Israeli aggression on unarmed civilians in Maroun al-Ras and in the Golan, which constitutes a dangerous violation of human rights, and what happened today in Maroun al-Ras and in the Golan is an embodiment of the will of the Palestinian people who are committed to the right of return.”

Mahmoud Abbas, speaking in a telvised interview said, “Their precious blood will not be wasted. It was spilt for the sake of our nation’s freedom.”

Western leaders including Barak Obama, David Cameron, Nicolas Sarkozy, and others has remained silent on the murders.

Could Hollywood have a new couple?

Both Leonardo DiCaprio and Blake Lively have recently split from their longtime partners, so one can't help but wonder if these two wildly attractive stars are teaming up for a movie, or some real life romance.

DiCaprio greeted Lively with a warm embrace and entertained her, as well as Steven Spielberg and Lukas Haas on a boat off the coast of Cannes, France earlier today. Although the pair were not alone out on the water, they have been spotted out together, multiple times over the last few weeks and their ear-to-ear smiles certainly seem to say a lot.

Lively split from boyfriend of three years, Penn Badgley at the end of last year while reports began to surface earlier this month that DiCaprio and girlfriend Bar Rafaeli had amicably called it quits.

“I look at that picture and I remember exactly what I was thinking,” he said. “‘You deserve this, after everything you’ve done for the club’. The only thing I could think about was how much Ferguson deserved this.”

Solskjaer has also reflected on how money has never been his motivator, rather the fear of disappointing.

“There are a lot of things I don’t have to do any more, I’ve got money enough to lie on the beach and relax for the rest of my life, but that would get boring pretty quickly,” he continued. “No, money does nothing for the inner drive. Money has made me comfortable in the sense that that part of my life is taken care of. But it’s never driven me. It’s the fear of disappointing myself that has driven me. Disappointing those around me. And Ferguson. The worst thing I knew was to disappoint Ferguson.”

Rio Ferdinand has today revealed that when he first joined Manchester United in 2002, he was keen to get his name in to our history books.

Nine years and nine trophies later, Rio is happy with his contribution but isn’t finished yet.

“When I first came to United all I thought about was making sure I etched myself a little bit within the history of the club and to do that meant winning trophies,” Ferdinand said. “I have been fortunate enough to be part of squads that have won trophies. You just really enjoy those moments. To be part of a club with such great history and be part of a successful team within that history is the icing on the cake.”

1. Buka Aplications --> Accessories --> Terminal

a. Pertama, Anda perlu mencari tahu di mana partisi sistem Linux Anda terinstal dengan perintah
sudo fdisk -l
(Dalam kasus saya, itu "sda1")

b. Sekarang, kita harus me-mount partisi ini:
sudo mount /dev/ sda1 /mnt

Dimana "sda1" adalah partisi di mana Anda menginstal Ubuntu (atau distro Linux lainnya).
Dan sesuaikan dengan milik anda :D

c. Install grub untuk partisi yang telah anda mount:
sudo grub-install --root-directory=/mnt/ /dev/sda

Penting Harap perhatikan: bahwa hal itu "/dev/sda", bukan "/dev/sda1".

"Sda" adalah hard disk tempat anda mengistal Linux!

d) Restart komputer Anda.

Saran saya setelah GRUB 2 anda pulih silahkan ketik sudo update-grub :D

Hewlett-Packard (HPQ) turned in strong second-quarter earnings today but warned of lower growth this year, due to soft sales of consumer PCs and disruption caused by an earthquake and tsunami in Japan.

HP's earnings announcement came a day earlier than scheduled because of a leaked memo from the Palo Alto company's chief executive.

Though the leaked memo spoke of "a new head count plan," HP CEO Leo Apotheker said in a telephone conference with reporters, "I don't want anyone to read into this that there will be head count reduction across the board."

The memo, he said, reflects "prudent steps" being taken "to manage in the face of headwinds we are seeing, particularly as the result of the Japan crisis and some softness in the consumer PC business."

In the e-mailed memo to top executives of the company, HP's chief warned that the company's head count in the second quarter of 2011 was "unaffordable given the pressures of our business."

Pressed on the contents, Apotheker said "these memos should not be a distraction. "... The first thing I want everyone to clearly understand is we actually delivered a strong quarter."

He said he was "disappointed" in the leak. "I expect these memos to be kept confidential,
Advertisement
and not be circulated around."

Expressing dissatisfaction with the performance of the company's business services efforts, Apotheker announced a reorganization to gain market share. He said HP's services business had been "drifting" toward low growth and low-margin activities, and had missed market opportunities.

HP will invest in that business for long-term growth in market share, he said.

"The forces of the cloud and conductivity are changing the world of technology and creating exciting new opportunities," he said. "Companies need to evolve their strategies aggressively during this technology shift," he said in an earlier conference call with analysts. "That is exactly what we're doing."

While there was weakness in the consumer PC market, Apotheker said, the commercial market remained strong.

The company's tablet PC will debut this summer.

HP's earnings of $2.3 billion, or $1.05 a share, for its second quarter, ending April 30, were above the same quarter last year. The company earned $1.24 a share, and revenue was up 3 percent to $31.63 billion.

But the computer and software giant has reduced expected earnings for the year to $5, which falls below earlier forecasts of $5.20 to $5.28 a share.

It also lowered 2011 revenue guidance slightly, to between $129 billion and $130 billion, and forecast adjusted earnings of $108 a share and revenue between $31.1 billion and $31.3 billion.

CALIFORNIA - Some users are confused, when Google decided to make Chrome the operating system OS for netbooks. This confusion occurred about the differences between Android and Chrome OC.

Chrome is Google's open source operating system designed specifically for notebook computers. Well Google Chrome is make sure that the OS will never be immersed for the tablet.

Because, as reported by TG Daily, Friday (05/13/2011), Chrome OS is basically a web-centric operating system designed to function more power and data intensive applications.

Meanwhile, the tablet market is something else entirely. Unlike some experts, Google sees the two as completely separate world with a line established between them.

Senior Vice President of Google Chrome Sunday Pichai said "There are a variety of experiences out there, and the web model is very different. We feel comfortable seeing their coexistence Film Google and YouTube have a web version Chromebook -. when you use, you see how it differs, and naturally they will live side by side This is a very different model, "he said.

So the addition of Chrome the OS will not affect the market as they are today.

But once again, because this is an open source, what is really prevent someone from changing the Chrome OS on a tablet? Perhaps the final line will be blurred.

An emotional day became unforgettable for Scotty McCreery on Saturday, May 14. The 17 year old kept his cool while fans screamed, cried and even proposed marriage during a media tour and promotional stops at local Garner, N.C. businesses. Taste of Country was there as the love shown by friends and family began to peel away the layers of his usually steady demeanor. The afternoon reached a fever pitch when McCreery’s hero Josh Turner walked out singing his hit song ‘Your Man.’

McCreery had just begun his “theme song” when Turner strutted out and picked up the next verse. “Oh my goodness!” McCreery shouted while waving off his band. It was the only time all afternoon he struggled to find the perfect thing to say.

“All these people are here for you,” Turner told McCreery. “I had heard you never sang this song with a band before and were a little bit nervous, so I decided I would bring a few of my guys in.” The duo picked up the song from the start, and traded verses and praise before going into Turner’s first radio hit, ‘Long Black Train.’

The high school junior showed incredible stage presence for someone who’s experience is limited at best. He was charismatic and funny, worked both sides of the audience, and even remembered to wave to the special fans in the first few rows. He hammed it up a little with Josh Turner, but never came off cornier than one would want. Amongst the songs he recreated for his fans was ‘Gone,’ ‘Letters From Home,’ and ‘The River,’ all tracks that were essential to his success thus far in the competition.

Hours earlier, during the parade leading up to the concert at Lake Benson park, fans watched as their native son buried his head in his hands and came up with rosy cheeks and watery eyes. Organizers expected 30,000 people despite the threat of storms. Fortunately, the only thing that got wet before McCreery finished was his sleeves, as he dabbed his teary eyes. Expect that scene to make the cut during this Wednesday’s episode of ‘American Idol.”

Have you heard of the Disney Cruise Line? Here are just some of the thing they offer: live Disney shows, “meet-and-greets” with the Disney characters, children’s clubs and adults-only spots as well. None of those sound good? Okay, fine. How about first-run movies at the theater onboard?

Are your kids looking to get away from their geeky parents? Not a problem. From a Little Mermaid themed daycare to Vibe, a place where 14 to 17 year olds can chill out and listen to music, watch TV or play the latest and greatest video games, kids should be able to find whatever it is they’re looking for, regardless of their age.

I read about the Disney Cruise Line on the Telegraph, and I must say, it sounded quite impressive. I mean, the only thing missing I could think of was Zach and Cody, though as much as Disney offers? I wouldn’t be so quick to rule them out, either.

Each Disney Cruise has roughly 950 employees who represent over 60 nations and you can rest assured that you’ll be well taken care of because there’s a Disney associate for every three passengers. There are several cruise lines from which to choose. The Disney Dream might be a good choice for those of us in the U.S. as it sets sail from Florida. It also offers the AquaDuck waterslide which is billed as the first “water coaster” ever on a cruise ship. It sounds like a blast as it offers those brave enough to partake all kinds of twists and turns as it eventually extends beyond the actual ship itself (whoa) and culminates in a four-deck drop. (I’d recommend that one before lunch, for what it’s worth.)

So would my family and I enjoy such a cruise? Tough to say. I’m certain my 9-year-old would be all about it. She watches a fair amount of the Disney Channel and given all that the cruise lines offer, I bet she’d find real value in it. My wife and I?

While I’d never say never, we’re not really cruise people. We like a little more control over our vacation. Though Disney would offer us the gamut of family-friendly choices, I have a feeling we’d get cabin fever.

Having said that, I’m fully aware that there are many folks who love cruises. If you’re one of them, and you’ve got a big family vacation planned this summer, you should really consider looking into the Disney Cruise Lines. Who knows? You just might wind up having the time of your life. (Assuming you don’t get kidnapped by Captain Hook.)

To learn more, go do DisneyCruise.com. Warning, not exactly super-economical. But, again, if you’re looking to blow the bank on a big family vacation, this just might be worth looking into.

Mike Huckabee formally bowed out of the presidential running on Saturday, announcing on his FOX News show that he had decided not to enter the race even as he believed he was a top-tier contender.

"All the factors say go," he said, "but my heart says no."

The former Arkansas governor said that he had concluded that he could raise the necessary funds and build the necessary campaign infrastructure to win the nomination, but that he felt an "inner peace" in contemplating his final decision, which he said was borne out of prayer and meditation.

"I don't expect everyone to understand this, but I'm a believer and a follower of Jesus Christ and that relationship is far more important to me than any political office," he said. "For me the discussion and decision is ultimately not a political one ... it's a spiritual one."

In a bizarre twist, Huckabee's announcement was immediately followed by a surprise appearance from Donald Trump, who praised the decision with a wink towards his own presidential ambitions.

"A lot of people are very happy that he will not be running, especially other candidates," Trump said. "So Mike, enjoy the show, your ratings are terrific, you're making a lot of money, you're building a beautiful house in Florida, good luck."

He made his announcement shortly after a taped recording of him and Ted Nugent playing "Cat Scratch Fever" in an episode that also featured former Saved By The Bell star Mario Lopez, perhaps early indicators that this wasn't the venue for a presidential declaration.

Huckabee was considered one of the most credible challengers for the nomination after a strong performance in 2008 that included an upset win in the Iowa caucuses and a large share of the vote in a number of Southern states. Surveys of Republican voters often showed him leading the 2012 field while national polls indicated he could be competitive against President Obama in a direct matchup.

But despite his loyal following, he gave little indication over the last year he was preparing for a run. Many of his most prominent supporters and aides from 2008 began taking jobs with other presidential candidates in recent months and some, most notably his advisor Ed Rollins, openly predicted he would sit out the contest.

When “American Idol” topics have generated vast online buzz following the weekly performance shows, they have almost always concerned the contestants and their song selections.

This time, however, the most-buzzed about subject is judge Randy Jackson, who caught heat for a variety of developments on Wednesday’s intriguing Final Four performance show. As of 10:30PM, Jackson leads the Google Trends chart as the most popular search term online.

Notably fueling online buzz for Jackson is the fact that contestant James Durbin performed Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’”, making multiple mentions of the fact that Jackson used to play bass for the band. While discussing the performance, Jackson said that Journey, along with fellow judge Steven Tyler’s band Aerosmith, ranks as one of the greatest American rock bands of all time. He also said that lead singer Steve Perry, like Steven Tyler, is one of the all-time great rock vocalists. Journey had climbed to number two on the Trends chart.

(Update: In a very rapid change, Jackson and Journey appeared to be off the Trends chart by 11:10PM)

But the buzz was not all for Randy Jackson and James Durbin bonding over the influential Journey song. Another element of interest in Jackson comes from his heated exchanges with Haley Reinhart, who was the only contestant to receive negative feedback after the first round of songs Wednesday.

Reinhart’s take on “Earth Song” garnered criticism from both Jennifer Lopez and Jackson, with Lopez focusing on the ill-advised song selection and Jackson bringing attention to things like Reinhart’s “screaming” throughout the song. The interaction between Jackson and Reinhart escalated, with the two (along with J-Lo, at times) entering into something of a brief, heated, back-and-forth discussion about the performance and song selection.

Later, when asked by Ryan Seacrest who won the first round, Jackson said that it was a tie between Durbin, Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina, delivering a biting blow to Reinhart, the only other singer left in the competition.

Though Reinhart is perceived to have the smallest overall fanbase of the remaining contestants, she is very popular with critics and online commenters, and there was a big degree of outcry over what Haley fans felt was biased judging in that first round.

As with last week, however, the first round criticism built into something positive for round two–all three judges gave Haley a standing ovation for her “I Who Have Nothing.”

Headline Planet’s full review of Wednesday’s performances is due Thursday.

Federico Macheda’s agent, Giovanni Bia, has conceded that the player’s loan spell has been an unsuccessful one due to the pressure he was under.

When he joined the club on loan at the beginning of the year they were 8th, however, they have felt the departure of Antonio Cassano, who left for AC Milan a month before Kiko’s arrival. Cassano had scored 5 goals in 9 games before leaving and it appears as though our striker hasn’t coped well in trying to fill the former Real Madrid player’s boots.

Sampdoria are now 18th and 2 points away from safety.

“He played well at the start, then he was perhaps caught up in the vortex for survival,” he said. “If even the older players couldn’t raise Sampdoria then a 20-year-old boy certainly wasn’t going to be able to do that. There is too much pressure and criticism in the Italian game and I think the player himself has been left disappointed by all of it. Although he settled well into the city, perhaps he rushed his return to Italy given that the game has different pressures here than in England.”

Kiko’s agent hasn’t ruled out the possibility of the player staying in Italy next season though.

“I don’t know what will happen with Macheda next season, I’ll have to talk to Manchester United,” Bia added. “Staying at Sampdoria could turn out to be a useful experience for him, even if they were playing in Serie B next term. However, it’s too early to say at the minute.”
