Steven Gerrard Tense When Acting in Film 'Will'


Directed by Ellen Perry involve professional footballer Steven Gerrard in garapannya film titled 'Will'. According to Ellen, the captain of Liverpool football team was pretty shy, and somewhat strained during the process of shooting.

"I know he's tense, and I told him, 'Come on, think about where you are, that's the biggest game in your career, this (acting) is nothing' and he said, 'But I've kicked a ball since the age of six years' , "said Ellen Gerrard mimicking speech, the BBC reported on Tuesday (31/05/2011).

Finally, Ellen managed to convince the English footballer to relax. Moreover, the film is also an important history of Liverpool and the club's most dramatic matches in Gerrard's career.

'Will' tells of the struggle of a 12-year-old boy who traveled through several countries in Europe to get to Istanbul, Turkey. He came into the country to watch the 2005 Champions League final between Liverpool against AC Milan.

Besides taking Gerrard, the film was screened at the Cannes Film Festival, it also displays the current Liverpool manager, Kenny Dalglish and Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher. Actor Perry Eggleton will act as the Will along with British actor Damian Lewis (father William) and Bob Hoskins.

The process of shooting has been done in some places in Liverpool, Kent, Paris and Turkey, including in the Ataturk Olympic Stadium. 'Will' will be released in mid-2011.
