CALIFORNIA - Apple is preparing to introduce their latest service called musk iCloud. Rumors were rolling, would carry around these iCloud direction?
Some observers argue that Apple's cloud-based service that would replace the function of iTunes, because the synchronization be done anywhere and not have to connect with one device only.
"Do not think about iCloud as the new MobileMe, as they may be iCloud as the new iTunes," said analyst John Gruber from Darin Firebal, as reported by Apple Insider, Monday (06/06/2011).
Gruber admitted that he knew only "a few minor features" about the special events planned to developers who will discuss the IOS 5 and iCloud.
However, Gruber iCloud speculate who will replace iTunes as the "central store for almost all data"stored in the iPhone, iPod and iPad, transferring information to the cloud.
These services will, however, affect MobileMe as well, like iTunes and MobileMe overlap on the type of data they store online. For example, the current iTunes sync "audio, movies and TV shows, iBooks e-books, App Store applications, contacts, calendars, bookmarks, notes, and all kinds of files are shared between the IOS application."
While presenting the concept sale including MobileMe cloud-based synchronization of bookmarks, contacts, calendar and files. Thus, if the service is to mirror backup iCloud iTunes for IOS devices, MobileMe would certainly not desirable.
